How it started
Brigid started Brigid’s Catering in 2009 with a simple idea: good, home-cooked meals at a fair price, made from the family recipes that were handed down to her.
At the end of 2022 she handed the business to her daughter Bianca and Bianca’s husband, Stan. Brigid is still involved, though these days she’s more likely to send you an invoice than stir the pot.
Bianca keeps all the old favourites our regulars come back for, and adds a few new dishes along the way. Stan delivers the orders himself, so the face at your door is part of the family.
Where we cook
Everything is made in our kitchen at Parkhill Bowling Club, 50 Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Durban North. You can collect your order from us there for free. Parkhill is also a venue, so you can book the venue and our catering together.
We deliver from R35 within 15 km of our Durban North kitchen (further away costs a little more, and you’ll see the fee at checkout) on orders of R400 of food or more. Or collect for free from our kitchen at Parkhill Bowling Club.

What we cook
Frozen meals for the nights you can’t cook: heat them up and sit down. Mains start at R50.
Function catering across Durban: spit braais, braais, platters, canapés and sit-down dinners. We need at least 48 hours’ notice, and we reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.
