Welcome to Brigid’s Catering​

Brigid’s Catering is a family kitchen in Durban North, cooking since 2009. Brigid started it, and today her daughter Bianca and Bianca’s husband Stan run it. Stan still delivers the orders himself.

We make home-cooked frozen meals for the nights you can’t cook: heat them up and sit down. Mains start at R50. We also cater for functions across Durban, from spit braais and braais to platters and sit-down dinners.

We deliver from R35 within 15 km of our Durban North kitchen (further away costs a little more, and you’ll see the fee at checkout) on orders of R400 of food or more. Or collect for free from our kitchen at Parkhill Bowling Club.

Tastes like someone's mom cooked it. Nothing too fancy. Just tasty generous sized portions. Doesn't seem too unhealthy. Affordably priced... Home cooked meals the way they should be.

Catering

Our Story

Brigid started Brigid's Catering in 2009, cooking the family recipes that were handed down to her. At the end of 2022 she handed the business to her daughter Bianca and Bianca's husband, Stan. Brigid is still around, mostly to send the invoices, and Stan delivers your orders himself.

Bianca keeps all the old favourites our regulars come back for, and adds a few new dishes along the way.

How we work

Everything we make comes out of our kitchen at Parkhill Bowling Club in Durban North, cooking since 2009.

Before your event we offer a free consultation, so we get the menu right for your people and your budget. We need at least 48 hours' notice for outside catering and platters, and we reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.
